Community Gets Signs After Ten Years

When out and about yesterday, I picked up a Community Newsletter for West Valley News. The front page title caught my eye. OMG: What took Canoga Park 10 years to do, we did in a couple of months.

http://www.westvalleynews-sfv.com/

We got it done because we had the same attitude as Nike -
“Just Do It!!”

And our signs our much nicer!!!

Northridge Village History Plaque

Howdy!

The attached plaque has been placed in the planter at Lum-Ka-Naad Thai Restaurant located at 8910 Reseda Blvd. in Northridge.  Together with the Landmark-style signs, the street is starting to look more like a Main Street than a main drag.

New businesses are moving in and we’re helping with design and promotion.  A new Thrift Store moved in at 8917 Reseda.  He needs help in making the place look more appealing.  Lots of fun stuff, but needs to be displayed more…

Help Make a CTVA Senior Film Project Possible!

Hey CSUN,

We are a group of students part of the CTVA / Film Production major on campus, and are currently fundraising and working on our senior thesis project. This is a 15-minute short film (yes, shot on film) produced off of a budget of about $30,000. You might be asking, "What's the film about? How can…

Ten Reasons to Shop Local First..

1. Significantly More Money Re-circulates In Santa Clarita Valley.

When you purchase at locally owned businesses rather than nationally owned, more money is kept in the community because locally-owned businesses often purchase from other local businesses and service providers. Purchasing local helps grow other businesses as well as the Santa Clarita tax base.
